Hickory golf brings together all people who love to play the game, whatever their abilities, standard, age, gender, colour or creed. No modern equipment gives the feel of a hickory shaft as it swings and hits a drive, a pitch or a putt. Golfers who play the hickory game are joining a long and valued tradition and are supporting a greener and more healthy environment in the process.

Hickory golf does not need to be played on courses which require the intensive use of pesticides, fertilisers and watering nor bulldozing and complete re-sculpturing of the landscape.
