HICKORY HOMES

This year Musselburgh Old Course Golf Club, who play on the oldest remaining golf course in the world, has become the first Old Links Golf Hickory Home.

Past Masters Old Links Golf, the original hickory hire company in Europe, has launched its new initiative to make sets of hickory shafted, original clubs available for play at selected golfing venues.   Musselburgh Old Course and Past Masters are delighted to be working together in this venture. 'Hickory Homes', exclusive to Past Masters Old Links Golf, will offer a range of old golf experiences. 

All clubs are restored by hand using traditional methods by Christopher 'Hickory' Homer, founder and proprietor of Past Masters. Eight sets of clubs, plus a left-handed set, will be available  for play with replica gutty golf balls.

From April to October visitors to Musselburgh Old Course Golf Club will be able to play with authentic pre-1930s clubs on the oldest remaining playable course in the world. 

Come along to Musselburgh Old Course and experience the game as it was played here by the former greats like Willie Park, Tom Morris and James Braid.
