Hotfoot from competing in his first season as a professional on the European Tour Lloyd Saltman, oldest of the three Saltman brothers, took the 2007 title at Craigielaw from the defending champion, brother Zack with a round of 72!  Lloyd said he was delighted to have gained bragging rights over his younger rival as a result. 

Will Oliver make it a Saltman hat-trick in 2008 ? - only time will tell.... watch out for our home page stop press result after the Championships which in 2008 will boast five days of events as its popularity grows and the demand for the opportunity to play with the old clubs continues to rocket.

Frazer Man of Musselburgh was second on 73 with Steven Taylor, Bothwell Castle and Zack Saltman Craigielaw (and leading Amateur) tied for third on 75.

In the Pro-Am competition the leading Pro was Dean Robertson of Mearns Castle with a score of 73 with Mark King, Kingsfield Golf Range and Steven Rettie, Royal Troon tying for second place on 74.

Paul McKechnie and the Leith Links Team amd Steven Taylor and the Captains Team were first and second respectively in the Pro-Am team event with scores of 63 and 64.
